To All: WOW Day Trader is installed at my office, getting data from DTN real time satellite channels. As you may be aware DTN offers a free 30 days and WOW Day Trader is in the package for your use for those same free 30. Their is a simple patio, deck, farmyard, front lawn dish mount and dish, receiver, software that arrives UPS in a couple of boxes. The mount is intended as a temporary mount held down with 200 pounds of sand bags, cement sacks, concrete blocks, or a water filled trash container. (imagination encouraged here)
My early problems related to Port configuration are solved. But, from the beginning, WOWdt would not save a workspace properly. Tech Support at Window On Wallstreet has had reports of a .tmp file in WOWdt corrupting. Deleting it has disolved that problem in my installation. Discovering what corrupts it would be nice, but the problem is not fatal, as the data server software that keeps the data sorted from the DTN receiver runs outside WOWdt.
So, with that out of the way, maybe we can get some serious quality play time in with WOWdt.
Otherwise, WOWdt has the power of WOW End Of Day software with Scanning, system testing, etc.
