When the history of the dumbing down of American is finally written, the Tea Party will finally be recognized for their special brand of 'leadership'. The Tea Party is the anti Party -- anti education, anti science, anti tax, anti common sense. Taxation in America is completely screwed up -- unfortunately, the Tea Party has nothing whatsoever to offer in the way of fixing it. The Tea Party is useful for one thing only -- it is useful to mobilize a political base completely committed to preventing anything in the way of meaningful tax reform. If you like the tax system exactly as it is today, support the Tea Party -- they are the bulwark of the status quo.
