Chinu: Re; how the gop paints him...sorry about that. I must have blurred something I read in another post or article with your post. I just haven't thought of it from the angle you're talking about. I do wonder why he said it....I remember it was more than once...And like koan, I wonder why nobody called him on it....Esp the Rs who were parsing every syllable to find error... But that's in the past.....yet, in order to make sense of where we as individuals or nations, are today, one must think about the decisions that led there..... I'm in the process of doing the above......does it mean I'll give my vote to the GOP? Absolutely not.... Does it mean that I hope that Obama hears these criticisms and gives them consideration? Absolutely yes.... Btw, I had dinner with an 87yo conservative democrat....her son is a fox news small business owner, and R and despises Obama...you know why? Because banks won't lend his customers(He's a housebuilder) the money! Where is there any evidence that Obama told banks to not lend money to credit worthy people?!!! But, as a testament to her own independent thinking, she's of the opinion that the Rs have not let him do what is right....I was suprised to hear this from her. Expected her to be fuming, instead was blaming the R congress for where we are today.... That's why boards like yours and Pal's are so helpful..... we get to hash things out and eventually get clarity.
