Thanks for the summary. I hadn't really thought about it before, but the audio application could be as big or bigger than the photography application if SNDK plays it right. Part of the problem with CD's is the inability to record. Enter SNDK with a media that is smaller, probably more durable (certainly more durable than a DAT) and that can hold 60 minutes worth of audio, and voila, "digital tape". If they can get more OEM's to make players/ recorders the impact of the music business could be substantial. Instead of going to a record store, I could order a custom selection of songs over the 'net and be done with it. How many CD's do most people have?.....
