Chinu, Alan west is the only Republican African America out of 44 in congress. 1 in 44. And Alan West is stone cold nuts and not worth mentioning.

But surly you do not think the congressional black caucus is taking their position based on politics?

You are defending one man Chinu. The CBC and we libeals are concerned about the millions of people needlessly suffering. Do you really think FDR and TR would have acted like Obama under exactly the same circumstances?

Did Obama ever try reconciliation? Challenging filibusters Did he try arm twisting? Did he use the bully pulpit. The democratic congress would have done anything Obama wanted to do.

This line "well it was the best we could do under the circumstances", well frankly, leaves me speechless.

And I have a lot of company in my thinking.
