The Democrats have lots of ammo to use against Perry. They're going to use the Texas background to tie the guy with Bush. I can see the ads now -- do Americans want a third Bush presidency?

And if that fails, they're going to make the guy look like an Evangelical hick. If the guy was more eloquent, ala Romney or Huckabee, he could probably shake a lot of those associations, but it's clear that he's not an orator.
