Excuse my coming in on the conversation here.

The point I would make is that we need a winning 'team" A Presidential Candidate and a V.P. candidate.
And, yes I keep repeating this.

And, that team needs to be put in place early---------i.e. when Reagan and Bush won in 1980 and 1984
by the spring of the convention year---------Reagan and bush were the two candidates.

The only thing to be decided was which one would be President-------that was worked out via the convention process .

Some would say that if the team is known early that allows time for the Dems to target the candidates-------that will happen regardless of who the nominees are, that is to be expected.

At this point in time, the one that I am uncomfortable with is Huntsman--------the Democrats like him and that to me is a sign that they would like to see him the nominee because he is weak as a Republican, a candidate they could easily defeat.

Obama will do everything he can to pander to the illegals by granting amnesty and citizenship before the 2012 election----------he will create a jobs program that will likely fail in the future but entice some of the same supporters he had for 2008-------he will create another agency/or use an existing one to handle the phones and supervise applications--------this is make work. (In other words Obama will create a government employment agency to vie with private industry. )

So my position is that we need the strongest possible team to defeat Obama------sure his ratings are down, but he is doing everything he can possibly do with that executive pen to garner votes for 2012.
