Joefromspringfield, Just think of the legislative "pork" and buying of votes that would be eliminated.
What would these Congressman have to take back to their constituents to buy their votes? Hopefully, the Congressmen can scapegoat and blame the cuts on the Committee of 12. But, there will still need to have a majority vote for passage, or equal cuts will have to be made in the areas of military and discretionary items.

We should take bets whether Congress will pass the decisions of the Committee of 12!! What are the odds? Have the book makers made any bets at this time?
