While Investors Intelligence and AAII haven't been as bearish as I would have liked or expected, we've now gone 17 straight days with the total Put/Call ratio over 1 which is very extreme and suggests pervasive bearishness..

So if I look at fundamental timing factors Bob and to an extent others use, We have sentiment is bullish, interest rates, the Fed and now the money supply are very bullish and valuation looks extremely bullish. The only other major one is the economy which is a legitimate question.

I think even if we do even close to 1% growth that will be adequate to maintain good profits these days. I'm not in the significant recession camp so I think we'll likely have a strong new leg up on this bull once we get finished with this bottoming process with its multiple tests of the 8/8 1119 low already. That said, we're still hanging around with about an 18% correction so there's still not a lot of wiggle room to avoid a bear. Gold has now officially gone parabolic so I think and hope it will finally break so some of that money may pour into the market.
