Tulvio - I think they saw a large market in ASICs and not much competition, and decided CATS could generate a lot of revenue. It didn't work out that way, plus, when the demand picked up for disk drive inspection stations and MR heads, plus the potential for micromachining, they decided that was the better way to go. Remember, however, JMAR still owns CATS, and can STILL use it for testing XRL chips or doing design work, etc. If they sell it, they still might retain a percentage ownership, so it would still be available for their use.
