Does Adobe fail to develop new technology/products? Isn't Adobe's investment in small startups meant to spur their own development process? I think this is a sound, forward-looking practice, and I don't think many analysts quite know what to make of it yet.

Microsoft has been proving for years that you can create a monstrous company based solely on upgrade cycles. Name one Microsoft innovation...just one. I dare say MSFT took a page from ADBE's book when they 'invested' $150M in AAPL recently.

Short answer: No. I don't agree that ADBE is going nowhere.

Good luck to you.
