At some point a short bond trade will pay off in spades but at this point I think the odds don't favor a short bond position.

If the Eurozone problems get aggravated, the flight to dollars and the treasuries will continue. I expect the ten year note to break 2% decisively ........ I currently don't have a position in the bonds.
