Sorry for all the questions, but why would 1 month be too short of a time frame? My reason for buying the puts would be to play off the chart, not the fundamentals. Short term, should GTW reach my price of $32 (trending down every day) it would be poised to fall back into the 20s. The weak fundamentals would help it go down, too.

And why short the stock? Should the stock break above $32, it could go a lot higher. Wouldn't shorting it be nearly as risky?
