I have just made a "very ordinary" CC purchase. The $80.50 revenue from the call sale has put my total call sales expiring in Septemberr over $2,000 dollars.,,,significant monthly income for a retiree.

The "very ordinary" transaction was the purchase of CS "Capstone" and the sale of $3 calls at .10c ea. Net of commissions the cost totaled $2,792 and the proceeds of exercise will be $2,957. That's a 5.9% gain for only 23 days.

Of course if it is not exercised, it will be "rinse , and same again", selling another 30day call, with similar return (I hope).
