My only experience with sail was on Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Canada. Young French couple were looking at a 15 meter day sailor and needed a wheel guy while they learned how to do the sails. That was the only time I have run deck awash in a boat. On purpose that is.

We were putting in with the engine quarter mile from the dock when I was told to shut off the engine. That was a WTF moment. Never knew 6 tons of lead in the keel carried a boat so far.
