If I was going to publish a paper in a scientific journal I'd run a control run just to show what everybody that works with plastic pyrolysis already knows, without a catalyst the process produces Goo. ...But for the commercial world that is just pissing in the wind.

Just ask Agilyx.

But for the commercial world that is just pissing in the wind.

What is really funny is that scion thinks that somehow makes a point.

So many funny things about this whole CONTROL BS:

1. You would not do a "control test" on this type of set-up as Scion is trying to sell it, unless, as you referenced, no other pyrolisis work has ever been done.

2. Scion's reference to efficiency confirmation has nothing to do with a "control" test/experiment at all, as controlling the volume of plastic going in, in order to determine efficiency, really is not a control test.

3. The fact that JBI can tweek the machine to go from close to 30% naptha output to 2% clearly shows they have done lots of control tests, in the broader sense of the word, and clearly know how to control the process very handily and as needed.
