gary, here is one for you to look into - allen murdoch may like this too:

orckit, orctf. consider today's announcement:

biz.yahoo.com

i do not follow this newsletter, James Passin, the Taipan, 1217 St. Paul St., Baltimore, MD 21202, but this is what he states in his newsletter regarding this little company:

"During our recent research trip to Israel, we stopped by the headquarters of a little known telecommunications firm called Orckit Commmunications, after meeting with top brass, our jaw literally dropped open. We promise you this: This tiny Israeli company will make you very, very rich...Orckit has developed a modem so fast that it promises to wipe all existing competitive products off the map - while simulataneously solving the phone companies' traffic jam problems..."

he then goes on to explain why he believes this is so. Orckit went public just a short time ago at $16 1/2, so it is trading slightly above that price and appears to be yet undiscovered. so today's announcment by Rockwell may confirm Passin's view. interesting.

iom's strength at this level is amazing (so far anyway)

any comment, gary, allen?
