I read about how he made this catalyst discovery (supposedly on old magnetic tapes--except chemistry labs back then did not store that kind of information on magnetic tapes, only data. Information on a catalytic reaction would be written down in a paper notebook).

Stonehenge--I started enthusiastic and did enough DD to lose my enthusiasm. A lot of this depends on what you think of JB. I read his single patent (not impressive). I looked into his data recovery business (baking tapes so they unravel--well known on the internet, no great shakes). I read about how he made this catalyst discovery (supposedly on old magnetic tapes--except chemistry labs back then did not store that kind of information on magnetic tapes, only data. Information on a catalytic reaction would be written down in a paper notebook). I looked into who is involved in his company (no one, including him, with the background to execute the business). I was concerned about the lack of chemE and process engineering at a chemE company/process engineering company and the lack of accounting and board oversight. I weighed this against all the positive data Rawnoc lists (impressive). Overall, the idea that a magnetic tape baker and a newly graduated osteopath are going to revolutionize the plastic recovery industry in a way that seems to challenge the laws of chemistry does not seem credible, despite this requiring billion dollar companies making mistakes (that has happened). Time will tell.
