"Nothing I see means anything" -- A discussion

To All,

"nothing I see means anything"

Nothing that I see means anything... Yes... it seems that this is true... at least nothing has meaning until I assign it one... and make it part of my own personal mythology.

In a reductive sense, all things are like colour. Colour does not truly exist... Colour only exists as long as certain light rays shine on it and cause it to reflect in a certain way which is "given meaning" through a process involving eyes and brain. Turn off the lights, and colour no longer exists... But the memory of it remains... allowing us to describe in infinite detail that which we have seen.... or have perceived to have seen... But who is to say that one person's indigo is that of another?

Croc musings...
