Equally irresponsible is using "catastrophic", "once in a lifetime event", "historic damage" to describe an obviously weakening system that never was as powerful as the "weather experts" were reporting it to be .. They were reporting it to be exactly what it was. And using their best tools to project what it was going to be. They didn't make up the barometric pressure or the wind speeds, and the satellite shots were not photoshopped. Let's just shut down the NHC Triff, they are just hype agents. Irene was a dud and it was always "obvious" to you (after the fact).
