Steve, if your truly believe that the Hiroshima bomb was ignored, then I do have a rubber cell ready for you, OK? Showing some consideration for your strong performance in the 'Picks of The Quarter' competition this time, however, that would be a rubber cell with caviar and champagne facilities :)

Seriously, I doubt the Japanese were given much time to come up with a Hirohito reaction to the first (U235) bomb. Also, it may have been important to check the action of the 2nd (Plutonium) bomb vs, the first, thus Nagasaki.

That is indeed a great argument, probably the best of any around so far.
