I agree. That is why the goal will be to tear down any Republican nominee. If Obama is unable to be positive, the only game plan will be to go negative with great intensity. This path requires that Obama abandon much of the hope and change fluffy stuff from the 2008 campaign and switch to Chicago style politics.

It is unclear if he will be able to convince people that he is really the lesser of two evils.
