lost in the hoopla about bernanke's speech at JH was Lagarde's speech. it was as dire as anything ever written here. globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com yet, futures today up, even in france, where something of a dire financial nature is happening. socgen, probably. italy has infected france, which was in turn infected by greece, sept and oct will be horrible in eurozone. and what does that mean for us? is gold oversold or merely doing its job?
