Housing keeps on screaming, down...

zerohedge.com

Have to stop in the city office and see if the sale price for the MONSTER house in my sub is posted yet. I've very curious to see what they got, as this is by far the biggest house by a factor of 2 or 2.5 in the five or six blocks in my area.

Crazy builder with the two lots keeps adding nutty terms to the sale. He reduced the price of one of the pair and then put in a statement that both have to be sold together. WHY have two listing then? The guy is just nuts, as I offered his ask in the spring and he immediately bumped up the price on both. And now the season is over and they sit.

But, today I'll be looking a very nice lot with a fully pored basement and plans for a 5000 square home with four car garage. I would not ever build something that size, but this price, I might buy this land tomorrow. The area is decent and the property large and priced to sell.
