I haven't seen Perry claiming that God talks to him What do you mean? God told him to run for President. If that isn't talking to God what is? Or maybe you say Perry just listens and doesn't talk? The deficit is one issue and I suspect we agree on that, but bringing your religion into government is even a more dangerous trend. You are not listening to me on the religious issue as I said that I have no problem with religion nor the President having religion. That's pretty much a given. But the ideological positions of the hard right - The Bachmanns or the Perrys should send a shiver up the backside of every American. Paul - there is religion and there is religion. One is good the other trends toward zealotry.
