Uh, no. The biggest single "root cause" of our current crisis was promoted by both parties - the repeal of Glass-Steagall and the Derivatives Modernization Act. Clinton signed both into law and that chit eating grin in the picture wasn't fake.
It was Clinton's "team" that ran Brooksley Born out of town.
Bush tag teamed Clinton's actions... And Clinton didn't say a word in protest, either.
In fact, Clinton is not mentioning reinstating Glass Steagall nor is he developing a plan to neutralize the $600-$1,400 trillion in outstanding derivatives, either.
Nor is Obama.
It is a tag team.
They all play their roles. When they can do it to keep people in the two party fake paradigm, they do so - so people argue as you do.
However, when they need the other "team" to come through for Big Finance Capital, they come through.
When California needed tax increases, the Republicans all got together and told 3 members to vote for the taxes in order to pass, the Republicans would all support their re-election and the rest would say how much they oppose taxes (after negotiating to raise them behind the scenes).
The whole system is rigged. NOBODY IS FIGHTING FOR YOU. THEY ARE FIGHTING AGAINST YOU AND YOUR INTERESTS.
They know full well you well you will lay down all the more quickly if you have a scape goat... so they provide one.
Both establishment parties are fake.
You should be livid at Obama and protesting him every chance you get.
He lied about NAFTA, about the Patriot Act, about signing statements, about GITMO, about not being a war monger, he lied about not bailing out Wall Street, he lied about HAMP (it hurt home owners), he's lying about creating jobs, he lied about not promoting Bush tax cuts, etc...
But you don't protest that corrupt mobster front man in office, you just b* about the past.
Just like the Republicans will do once they get back into office.
