I agree 100%.........I keep getting tax breaks due to my income level. It's an insane policy.....it's actually trickle up economics. I keep getting disproportionately wealthier while the middle class struggles to get by. What all repubs and most dems don't get is that if you keep moving the wealth to the top without sharing amongst the middle-class, the economy is going to ultimately shrink. Consumer spending accounts for 70% of the economy and by far the bulk of that contribution comes from the middle and lower class. I can only buy so many toys!

Greed has grown rampant and the repubs (include tea baggers) in particular have been insidiously brilliant at making their base rally around policies that are economically repressive to their own self interest while shifting the wealth to the corporations and the upper class. All this BS about tax breaks creating jobs is a big smokescreen.....go look at the headcount IN THE US for most large corporations between now and 6-7 years ago and you'll get the answer. Their cash reserves and profits have never been better! We've had the Bush tax cuts through his admin and extended now through the current admin......~9 years now. Bush had the worst private jobs growth record ever and throw in a financial collapse upon his exit and we've got unemployment around 9% nationwide today. Wake up people.......

You're right, we will end up like Cuba unless someone in Washington grows a sack and reverses this charade.
