Irritable? Me? It was just that I found the love fest for Perry more than a little strange on a board that professed to be representative of the majority. And then as if to be ringing of the bell every clown out there showed up to tell me how wrong I was. Fair enough....... but if you think I am every going to support Perry, you're dead wrong. I'll throw my vote away first.

As to your tax idea - I like it and have been pounding the table for just that on Dales thread for a long time. As I just mentioned I would rather see the implementation of a consumption tax ; a VAT or sales tax. My state has no income tax but a sales tax and it is great! You don't want to pay the tax, you don't but crap or go to the neighboring state and haul it home. Most food and medicine are exempt.
