I am not. We are studying the texts in proportion to how often they come up on the AP exam. Chaucer is not in the top 10, or even 20, so we are only reading some of the tales, we are reading them in a modern English translation, and we will be spending the bulk of our time on the readings the AP folks really hammer on (Catch 22, the Scarlet Letter, etc). But I couldn't let them get away without an exposure to Chaucer and, also, to Dante. But we'll only allow 2 weeks for those. Then we move on.
