Markets don't resolve conflicts of interest (profit vs. the environment). Markets are not sustainable long term, they only focus on the short term. Markets need to be distorted and intervened. Experts are NEEDED to direct the market to a sustainable solution and an inclusive society. What's this fear of experts? This is the fear that the Repugnican Teapers are spreading around of intellectuals and science, etc.. They say they're all liberals on an anti-business bent. This is Stalinist hatred of intellectuals, knowledge and science, etc.. Experts will save the world. The teapers will destroy it if they get their way.
