I never said Clinton was the only President to run a prudent fiscal policy, but I did point out that we should be thanking Newt Gingrich rather than Clinton.

You really need to find an updated chart of Debt/GDP. The Obama years would show the line going almost straight up. We're at 100% Debt/GDP now, higher than under Truman.

We may have to look to get more tax revenues at some point (not at all the same thing as raising tax rates), but we have to reverse Obama's policies first so that the economy can recover.
