Semi I am in the process of subscribing to INFRASTRUCTURE. In reviewing the past monthly letters and Nov. daily notes., I read the following comments. Carl Johnson attended the AEA conference during which KLIC made a presentation. His comments were "A very bullish presentation was made by Kulicke and Soffa (KLIC). Management expects the first calendar quarter of 1998 to be a "blowout". This is in line with the comments we heard on the buy-side analyst conference call a few weeks ago. We would suggest purchasing the shares at the current quote if you have no exposure at this time". They also don't see the Asian situation slowing the back end sub- contractors or suppliers.
