Do you remember when Ford was catching hell over the Pinto? Must have been late 70s, anyway, some super duper dumb butt Ford exec came out with "What do you expect for $3000.00?"

That kind of arrogance is bred by lack of competition.....Foreign involvement in our markets have been a positive for the U.S. car buyer, plus most of them have built plants in this country.

Tariffs = more government intrusions in our lives.....the same government that has blown the money right out of the SS TRUST(trust....whatta hoot) Fund. You want them to have more control over the prices of what we buy???? .....Think about that for a bit, a group of self serving, easily bought jackals and in some cases border line retards meddling with what we are allowed to buy and sell......No fricking thanks.

Tariffs have always been for the benefit of the few(and favored) at the cost of many.

Reminds me of the old joke: Farmer Jones and farmer Smith had been selling the same mule back and forth to each other for years, each time for more money.........At some point farmer Smith sold the mule to farmer Rodriquez which really made Jones mad since it ruined such a good business.........

Some things only make sense on the surface.
