More seriously, at this stage in human development, we just don't have the tools to understand much and much less to communicate what we are able to understand. Under the circumstances, we are doing great. We have only been civilized for several thousand years. In terms of the universe, we are at the very beginning. Our languages are much to primitive and too full of ambiguities. Just listen to Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann. There are people who actually think they understand what these folks are talking about. Imagine (if we don't destroy ourselves or elect people like Rick Perry) where we will be in 10,000 years. When they look back, future historians will marvel at what primitive people like us were able to achieve.
