Off Topic to Harry Stein, I used to freely make recommendations at SI, and I have offered some very good calls, if I must say so myself. Back in May, I recommended CLST, DSPG, FPAM, AVID, all of which have double or tripled since then. (I put out one clunker, AMTR, which went nowhere. I sold it and lost no money. I was in COSFF, which was a mistake, and lost a little money there.)
Now, though, I always come under so much heat from rude people in these DD threads for merely trying to help out, that I have to say this negative spirit has reduced my desire to share investing tips, although I have some really good ones. (I recently rode CHKPF from 23 to 42 in less than four weeks, which is not bad. And several others are about to do the same. CHKPF in itself still has farther to go.)
So I am sorry, I will not be able to offer you any tips, even though you seem like a decent, sincere person, the kind of person who SI was originally meant for, I believe.
I still feel it is my duty to use the knowledge and resources I have been priviledged to develop to try to help the little guy avoid losing money, so I will post in certain threads when bad news is on the way. But I won't post any positive recommendations because of the deeply negative spirit among so many of the posters here.
