... Finally today, the U.S. Homeland Security Newswire is warning us of an imminent problem in Tokyo (see next paragraph). I hope they are wrong. A major quake in Tokyo may force the Japanese to begin liquidating assets on a global scale in order to cover what could be a human catastrophe.

Japanese scientists were warning Thursday that Tokyo could soon be hit by a massive earthquake, following a surge in seismic activity. Seismologists at the University of Tokyo detected a huge increase in the number of small quakes in the tectonic plates below the capital.
