I think it's an extension of the same thing we saw during the health care debate. It's manufactured results will be used to support Obama's agenda. He'll roll out petitions that allegedly support whatever his latest scam is, just as they did when they rolled out all of those people in the medical profession as props when in fact, the majority of Americans were against universal health care.

It's a common theme in his narcism, his speeches where he believes and repeats the imaginary position that "the majority of the American people" support anything he dreams up.
