If I had any money, I'd be snapping up all the local and nearby RRE I see at literally fire sale, once in a lifetime prices. So many immediately rent-able for considerably more than the mortgage payment! People HAVE to live somewhere! A solid, steady return while waiting for RRE to appreciate again.. Between the HFT machines and the Fed's various props, the stock market is totally mainuplated and irrational.
