"Anyone who gets out of their house once in a while and away from their PC/Laptop/Boob Tube and talks to people in the real world (outside of Fantasy Land (Wall Street) could see that jobs number coming." I was in OC for 12 days last month. Empty prime Balboa Ave. corner CRE. Empty offices and strip centers on Harbor, Beach and Brookhurst. The clerk at my hotel is about 50 yrs. old and she was as sharp as a tack and then some. Found she makes $9 hour w/no bennies. The chain moves her from week to week around the LA area depending on where she needs to fill in. Can be 2 hours of freeway there and back daily for $9 hour. She wasn't complaining, but happy to have a job.
