You've posted a (bad) link to a lawsuit that makes an allegation. Even the very article to which you refer states or is linked to other articles which refer to this as

A) An application specific issue (probably a bug).
B) One that is over-ridden by the device settings regarding privacy.
C) Location histories are not saved directly on the device. That's different from Apple's practice of recording the locations of visible cell towers on iPhone and iPad devices, which can result in more than a year's worth of data being quietly logged. Google's approach, by contrast, records only the last few dozen locations on Android phones.
D) The data transmitted is a unique ID of limited life, by design intended to ensure privacy.

I hope your level of ignorance on this topic is now diminished. Please feel free to admit that you have no idea what you were talking about, besides desperately trying to attack others to deflect well documented and obscenely invasive behavior on Apple's part, for which they are being investigated by governments worldwide, and sued worldwide over.

If you are concerned about GPS tracking, perhaps you shouldn't own an iPhone. I've heard that Apple may try send security people to your house with the information their units send to the mother ship.
