Not true. White population life expectancies in the US are lower than white populations in all other advanced countries.

Blacks in the US account for the higher murder rates and have worse health problems in general. Blacks in the US live around 5 years less than whites, but that only lowers overall life expectancy by about 0.5 years, which is a lot less than the 2-4 years of lower life expectancy we have compared to other advanced countries.

Also, the rapidly increasing Latinos, who now outnumber blacks, live on the average 2 years longer than whites, so they increase the overall life expectancy. Surprising, but true. Here is the article about this:
