The phrase "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need" literally means that intelligent, responsible, and industrious citizens have to do all of the work and then share the fruits of our labors equally with the unintelligent, irresponsible, and lazy undesirables. The Democratic Party is the advocating medium for such miscreants.
