I don't want to argue the science itself since I' not trained in that area--I'll leave that to Wharf Rat who is a trained scientist.

My point, as I said before, is that the right doesn't want to acknowledge that the large (huge?) majority of the scientific community thinks that the data so far gathered with respect global warming is indicative that human activity plays a role in that.

And I think the right chooses to ignore this opinion because the science, so far, is an "inconvenient truth" for them.
