Freedom has a certain burden. It isn't always convenient. The 5th Amendment means lots of people who should be convicted of crimes walk away free.

I know you can't get this because it involves arithmetic, but I'll try. The number of people in this country who (a) are uninsured, (b) can afford insurance, and (c) add significant cost to the taxpayer's burden is quite small. Yet, you're willing to give up a substantial freedom in order to insist that those persons purchase a product they don't want and don't need, for the most part.

The "burden" isn't from that group of people. The burden is from those who receive taxpayer-funded health care through the government. That's what is killing the country. People on Medicaid and Medicare.
