"There was an alert by Keystone newsletter yesterday to sell 2 China-based stocks....MGO and BOY, both on TSX main board. It was just to advise subscribers to step aside as these stocks were being taken down.
I see this as the latest strategy. The US has a hate on for China due to recent saber rattling and willing to turn a blind eye to these sort of stock manipulation, and Canadian agencies are too dumb struck (or maybe just dumb) to do anything. So, we had manipulation of bullion for past several years by bullion banks and the likes of JPM et al, and then we now experience the bracketing of stock selling by the use of high frequency trading and now we have effective rumor and innuendo to short stocks and damage them beyond repair.
Nobody stepped in on bullion manipulation and my sense is that US regulators and government saw this as being effective for supporting US$. There are some who are making a killing with HFT and now slam-shorting. If the regulators don't do something about this, investors will be more nervous about investing in the stock market....unless it's bank stocks, and maybe that's government's game plan/hope/strategy. Mommy told me it was a bad, bad world out there!
I've been around SVM since about $1.50 pre-split and followed this company every step in its development. There is nothing like it out there. What other miner has a negative cost per ounce to get silver out of the ground? Too good to be true...nah, just too good. I own other silvers but SVM outshines all the rest."
