It appears that it will have to be a pretty small room with some dim witted people before you'll find someone to say that Rick Perry is the smartest guy in the room.

Here's a look at his college transcript.

I dunno, let's compare it to Obama's transcripts. Oh, wait, we can't. How come the smartest President ever keeps everything sealed? And how come his opponents' sealed documents leak all the damn time, but never his? Just asking.

If the US economy is the result of Barack Obama's brilliance, and the Texas economy is a result of Rick Perry's stupidity, I think I'll happily vote for some of the stupid guy's results.

Really. I can hardly believe you're still peddling the 'Obama is so smart' meme (why else try to tell us that Perry is stupid?). We've all seen Obama in action for nearly three years now. Does he still look so smart to you? Frankly, he looks like an arrogant, know-it-all, rigidly ideological idiot to me. He's not even a competent politician. And lazy and classless to boot.

Obama is about to misuse one of the most solemn occasions in the American republic - a President's address to a Joint Session of Congress - for a campaign stunt. Just wait and see. Obama will insult the Republicans to their faces in a forum where they cannot answer back, mischaracterize their positions, blame them for the bad economy, propose legislation he knows won't pass, then tell Congress how he plans to do it anyway via regulation. The NYT is already hinting at it. nytimes.com

It would all be of a piece with how Obama behaved at his last Joint Session address, which was for Obamacare (where Joe Wilson yelled "You lie"; impolite but accurate), last year's State of the Union (where Obama castigated the attending Supreme Court Justices), and the debt summit speech where he invited Paul Ryan into the first row, then insulted him to his face and told lies about Ryan's debt reduction plan.
