But in areas that demand expertise we generally defer to experts or dueling experts (trials). Here we have 97 experts on one side and 3 on the other (roughly out of any 100 scientists)--so unless you (and I) are experts ourselves and can evaluate which side has the the better case what is the most reasonable course of action ( for a question of apparent global import)?
