Just returned from a long weekend campout at Petit Jean State Park in AR. Scenery is great but ATT E really sucks! Takes me back to the old dial up days.
The other side of the coin is that the Right, as just witnessed here in Mcintosh's post #664 as exposed by Wharf in his post of 854, is just buying scientists to do hatchet jobs on main stream scientific opinion disguised as scientific research.
That might be a counterpoint of a talking point you've got there, BUTW.
BUT, that's not where I was coming from at all.
My point is (one last time, now), there are enough scientific data points (that's for you VFC, folks) AGAINST AGW, to cause a certain level of doubt. IOW, "Settled Science" it's not! Far from it.
Yes, global warming is taking place. The questions are, how much, how fast, and how much of it is man made.
Yes, we should be addressing this issue with more than lip service, but to make it one of the rosetta stones, as many are trying to make it, is the fool's/(special interests) work. |
