He was doing it while running for President and I believe he has been changing dialect to suit his audience to give false impressions of himself or ever since he figured he could fool or use people to get his way. I believe he has used this chameleon tool most of his life. It would be very interesting to see his reaction if a ballsy newsperson questioned him about it and made him answer the question.
