Fixer, Yep .... seen Charters on the SI thread several times - he's been on the IPM thread a lot recently. He seems to know his stuff, that's for sure. Personally, as I said in another post - I think Japan will go to gold rather than US paper ... and I think they will get their gold from Russia .... it might cost them an island that they probably could do without anyway. Seems to me there is too much chance at the moment that the US market is ready to crap out - the PPT (plunge protection team as it is known in Kitco) can only do so much. I believe they were supporting the Japanes market in the last 2 days - they are desparate to keep thib market up - but they are going to fail. MB
